Clinical use of Iscador® Complementary CancerTreatment
Over 90 years ago, Iscador®, an extract from the mistletoe plant (Viscum Album), was virtually unknown in Europe. Today, thanks to ongoing scientific investigation and refinement, it is the most frequently used of all the mistletoe cancer treatments in the world.

Iscador® behaves in a number of complex ways, but it is now recognized that one of its primary functions is that it stimulates parts of the immune system that can slow the growth of cancer cells, and does so with very limited side effects. For this reason, it is often used in conjunction with conventional therapies such as surgery, chemo and radio therapies.
